Exhibition Specialized in North America in IBTM Series by Reed Exhibitions
AIBTM (America Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings Expo) is a North America-specialized exhibition in the IBTM (Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings Expo) series by Reed Exhibitions and shuttles back and forth between Chicago and Orlando. Its 2013 event was held at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Exhibitors Increase by 6% and Visitors Increase by 28.1%
The number of the companies that participated in 2013 AIBTM was 707, up 6% from 2012 (667 companies). Of these, 65 newly hosted companies took up 9.2% of all, which was up 1.6% from the previous year (56 companies). 2013 AIBTM had total 1,507 visitors, up 28.1% from the previous session (1,176 persons).

One-Third of the Visitors Are Buyers and 14,441 Pre-booked Business Meetings among Buyers
500 buyers were among the visitors, taking up about one third of all. Of 897 buyers officially invited to the 2013 event, the US buyers accounted for an overwhelming 88%, while South America accounted for 4% and Europe and Canada each registered 3%. By business category, agency and third party accounted for the largest portion of 54.4%, while company registered 21.3% and association and agency accounted for 16.7%. Total 14,441 pre-booked business meetings proceeded between exhibitors and buyers at 2013 AIBTM, and total profit through the exhibition was about 3.67 million dollars (4 billion won). Most of the profit which came from the sales of exhibition space was 2.83 million dollars (77.1%), while revenue from sponsorship was 150,000 dollars.

Providing Various Services and Creating Sponsorship Revenue through Aggressive Hosting of Corporate Sponsors
AIBTM provides various services for exhibitors and persons through recruiting a variety of sponsors, while pushing for more aggressive generation of sponsorship revenue. The sponsorship revenue for 2013 AIBTM was $148,987, which achieved 117% of the target ($125,833) was 16% up from the previous year’s performance. At 2013 AIBTM, hosted buyer lounge, training session, resting area, resting space, breakfast, dinner, badge, and exhibition floor map were all provided with the contribution from sponsoring organizations. Sponsorship revenue is categorized as follows. AIBTM generated not only revenue from traditional type of sponsorship ($95,925), but also e-revenue ($15,800). Looking ahead, generation of e-sponsorship revenue will be more and more vigorous through revitalizing SNS, homepage, and mobile apps.
