As a meetings industry trade show that represents Asia Pacific, AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo) is established as the major event in Melbourne. Held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the World’s First Facility Given 6 Stars in Green Star
As the southern hemisphere’s largest exhibition related to meetings industry, AIME is held in Melbourne, the capital of the Australian meetings industry. Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, where AIME is held every February, is the world’s first facility given 6 stars in Green Star, and is the first Australian facility to be established as the trend-setter for meetings industry in terms of eco-friendliness and adoption and application of innovative and advanced technology such as wireless Internet service. Currently, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has 52 variously-sized rooms, including 30,000㎡ column-free space.

Hosted Buyers Taking Up 15% of Total Audience, while Percentage of Asian Hosted Buyers Increasing
In the size of exhibitors and audience, AIME has registered continuous success for last 21 years. The 21st AIME, which was held in February 2013, had total 747 corporate participants in the exhibition, and total 12,470 pre-booked business meetings proceeded between exhibitors and buyers. AIME 2013 had total 3,244 persons participating in the exhibition, 15% (489 persons) of whom were hosted buyers. When compared to the 20th Anniversary of AIME held in 2012, the size of buyers hosted from Asia sharply increased (by about 20%), while among the hosted buyers at the 2013 event, Chinese buyers increased by 14% and Singaporean buyers increased by 57%.

AIME staff organizes the exhibition program content while collecting and reflecting feedback from exhibitors, buyers, and audience to ensure that individual participants can achieve real performance through their participation in an exhibition.
