IT&CM China (Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings China) is a meetings industry trade show created by TTG Events, a business group of TTG Asia Media, a media company representing the Asian meetings industry. Along with IT&CM Asia held in Thailand and IT&CM India held in India, IT&CM China is a component of the IT&CM Series.

Held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center with Highly Accessible Eco-Friendly Facilities
IT&CM China is held Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai, China. Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, which includes Shanghai World Expo Pavilion that was used for 2010 Shanghai World Expo, is an eco-friendly facility that boasts the world-class facilities and presents excellent accessibility thanks to its strategic position on the east side of the Huangpu River.

Half of Exhibitors Come in Hotel and Resort Business
If we look at the implementation of IT&CM China by its 2013 performance, 700 booth operators participated from total 292 companies. A classification of the exhibitors by business category showed that hotel and resort business providers took up more than half (52%) of the entire exhibitors, while travel agencies and tourism administration offices accounted for 9% each.

3,000 or so Visitors Included 400 Multi-National Hosted Buyers
Total 3,000 or so persons visited IT&CM 2013, of whom 400 persons were hosted buyers. There were 1,106 pre-booked visitors and 362 buyers. Of 362 buyers, newly hosted buyers accounted for 67%. By nationality, 65% were local buyers while international buyers accounted for 35%. International buyers were hosted from 37 regions including Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, and Cambodia. By origin, Asia-Pacific buyers took up the largest portion of 48%, while Europe and America accounted for 42% and 7%, respectively. By country, the largest group was 12 Indian buyers, followed by 10 Ukrainian buyers and 9 buyers from Australia or Singapore. By business category, travel agencies offering travel incentives took up the largest 61%, followed by 42% of meeting planners, 36% of travel agencies, and 35% of PCO.

68% of Media Companies from Overseas while Global Media Network Is Used
In the category of media, 44 persons participated from 22 countries including China. Local media took up only 32%, while the rest were all managers with international media. Europe accounted for the largest 39%, while Asia Pacific excluding China took up 25% with Middle East and Africa each taking up 2%. The larger portion of international media at IT&CM is presumably achieved by the influential power exercised by the global media network of TTG Asia Media, the mother company of TTg Events.
